This summer has flown by, I have been so busy working and shooting every day.  When a old friend reaches out, trusts you and asks you to photograph her family it means the world to me. As a gear up for a new teaching job, I can’t help but be grateful for all of those who have veiled in me and helped support me on this journey of being a small business owner and creative. It has it challenges and is much harder than it portray to be, but more importantly it is simply amazing.I love that has reconnected me with old friends, have met new ones, and have watched families tie the knot, have children and grow. I will still be photographing, but slowing down a little, and taking on fewer weddings next year. Photography will always be in my life.  I’m looking forward to next years weddings and new adventures with that and our photo campers. (yes campers) but I wanted to try to give public education one more chance. I am passionate about special education, and excited/ so nervous for my new venture at a new school.  Thank you to my dear friends and family for your support.

This family photo session in Harpswell was such a fun treat. I had a wonderful time capturing one of my best friends from college and her sisters family. I haven’t seen Jamie’s sisters family in roughly 4-5 years and it is wild to see how much the boys have grown.  I loved the matching shirts,  and watching the boys investigate every rock and hermit crab on the on the beach, esp. Kessler who grabbed as many rocks as possible while rubbing and hoarding all of them.  Can’t wait till we see each other again .
