I truly don’t know where to start with how wonderful and flawless this wedding day was. Lindsay is a Freeport native knowing we have mutual friends everyone said we would hit it off. She even knows some of my previous wonderful couples which makes it extra special when there is a connection between myself and clients.
My first time meeting the Lindsay and Matt was on their engagement photo session in Freeport seen here. We had a blast getting to know each other. I loved hearing about their past, present and future, this couple is going places. The one thing I knew for sure is the love and the pride they share between each other and their family and friends. They kept talking about hot to keep things simple and fun on their wedding day and most importantly eager to get married.
It was a beautiful day in July, not to hot not to cold . Their wedding was held in one of Maine’s most charming towns ; York, Maine. The York Harbor Inn is close to downtown York but slightly off the main strip which offers a private feeling for their guests. The ceremony was sweet and intimate with the beautiful Maine coast as a stunning backdrop. I personally loved the speeches and that both sets of parents spoke including the mother of the bride. ( I hope to do that one day for my kids). Instead of a cake cutting they cut a tiny cupcake with a giant knife and danced the night away with an epic dance party with their family and friends ( honestly so much dancing ) Everyone loved the camper where you can see some highlights here.
I can’t thank you enough and most of all congrats on your marriage. What a party to celebrate it!

We both loved our first look. It was great to have that quiet moment together and to kick off the celebration. It also allowed us to do tons of photos prior to the ceremony, which meant we could start celebrating with our guests earlier!

We met online and both knew pretty quickly that this was it.

Plan as much as you can in advance. We had a 100% stress free wedding day because everything was done!

We honestly had a perfect day. Wish the celebration could have lasted twice as long… we really wouldn’t change anything.

We go to Cape Cod every year with Lindsay’s 30+ person family for the 4th of July. Each year, we go to a private beach and watch the fireworks… and that’s where Matt proposed. We both love that it’s a place we can always go back to year after year!

The best part of wedding planning was finding ways to engage our families in the process. Matt’s mom did the place cards; Lindsay’s mom did the centerpieces. The most stressful part was probably the beginning, finding a location ; setting a budget. Our friends and family are still talking about the Maine Photo Camper and how much fun it was. And the photos are the best! Are you going on a honeymoon? If so tell us!!! It gives couples ideas on where to go!We just bought a house outside of Boston, so that’s our honeymoon for now!
