Cindy & Colby were the first couple to get hitched in a new Maine barn venue, The Barn at Kennebunk. The foggy/ semi rainy day added to the fun hustle and bustle of the big day. There was extra excitement and the sound of saws in the air the morning of as everyone prepped for Cindy to walk down the isle.
Her maids wore beautiful floral maxi dresses to match The Maine Photo Camper. The day was filled with laughter, family, friends, wonderful speeches and AMAZING food! I loved the touch of the flower girls walking down the isle with balloons. It added to the charm of being a child. Congrats on your marriage Cindy & Colby wishing you nothing but the best for years to come!
Love & Joy

Here are some tips for handling rain on your wedding day.
- Be sure to have umbrellas on hand, esp. if you are a photographer. I keep 6 in the trunk of my car if I see rain in the forecast. You never know when it will let down and you can snap a few pics.
- Check with vendors to see if they have a rain policy, specifically music for ceremony. Some speakers and string instruments can not play in the rain.
- Have a back up ceremony location. I think it is always great to have a plan B. It will be wonderful , cozy and intimate.
- Have fun and don’t worry about your outfits getting wet. It is time to wear your dress and suit. The most important accessory is your smile. Everyone there wants to celebrate and see the joy you both share rain or shine.
