Jenna and Robert celebrated their marriage at the beautiful Wolfe Neck State Park in Freeport Maine. Of course I was super excited to capture this wedding in my home town. Jenna’s dad picked her up in a beautiful antique street car where they were off to get hitched in style! Their ceremony was with a smaller group of family and friends. Their loved ones formed a circle around them so everyone was able to view the couple equally. I loved this aspect so much for the meaning along with the opportunity to capture photos of them with out trying to squeeze in and out of chairs and trying to duck under guests cameras. I was able to just focus on them and the moment.
After portraits we headed to the reception where the newly weds were greeted by a larger group of family and friends at the Lisbon picnic area. The day was filled with yard games, food trucks, treats, music and an occasional shower or two.
Jenna is also a photographer be sure to check out her work here: It is always exciting/ nerve wracking photographing another photographers wedding but it was a blast, and she thought of so many small details that made me extra happy to capture.
It was an honor being chosen to capture your day.
Love & Joy
