Dana & Stephen | Elegant Seaside Wedding| New Harbor Maine Wedding Photographer

On June 24th 2017 Dana & Stephen got hitched in a very special place to them… Our beautiful state Maine! This couple lives and met in New Jersey but call Maine their second home, once they found out their shared love and connection to Maine there was no question where they were going to have their wedding. Their day was filled with beautiful details on the coast of Maine. Beautiful flowers, signs, family, friends and music filled the air along with yummy lobster and a cigar bar, which was a big hit ! I had such a wonderful time capturing this day, truly there was SO much love!!! One of my personal favorite moments was right after the family formals on the bus before the ceremony I overheard Stephen say to Dana, ” Can’t we just get married right now?” The picture below is that moment when he is sitting on the bus looking up at Dana.

How did you guys meet? We met at a Monmouth Rugby fundraiser- the same man who introduced my (Dana) parents introduced us there.

Where did he propose? Sunrise at the Pemaquid Lighthouse.

Why did you choose a destination wedding to Maine? To us it’s not a destination wedding- to both of our families it is a second home- we love it there.

What advice to you have for couples planning a destination wedding? Find the right vendors for you and everything will come together- don’t sweat the small stuff.

What is one of your favorite memories of your wedding day? The bus ride from the ceremony to the reception- all our closest friends and family stuffed on a school bus celebrating the high from us making it official- so much fun!
